Q&A

Q. Can we fund raise over Christmas?
A. No. All fundraising must be done in the 2015 year for YW camp next year - so you only have January and half of February to raise the money for your YW to attend.

Q. What date is the age cutoff for girls to attend camp?
A. Young Women must be 12 by September 1, 2015 to attend camp

Q.  Will there be swimming at camp this year?
A.  No, the water will be too cold so there will not be swimming, but canoes will be available during free time and the YW swim tests from July 2014 camp will still apply for them to be able to use the canoes.  New Beehives will be the only ones that need to do a swim test, and even then as long as they are with someone in the canoe that passed the test, they may use canoes without the test.

Q. Will we have 'Sister Wards' this year?
A. No, there will not be Sister Wards this year

Q. Can we roll over any budget or YW camp fundraising funds to next year - or prepay with those funds for camp this year.
A. YW presidents must talk with their bishops about any fundraiser funds that are left over and ask if they can use them to prepay for camp in 2014.  The Bishops will need to get approval from the Stake President to prepay or to rollover funds to next year.  Leftover Budget money will most likely be going to pay for Nauvoo in 2015, but if your bishop feels it is necessary, he may ask for approval from President Reeves.
