Camp Personal Equipment Checklist 
Note:  Please make sure you PUT YOUR NAME ON EVERYTHING and that anything that is not waterproof is kept in Ziploc bags.  Bringing your things in a plastic tub or locker is a good way to protect them from water.) 
  1. Water bottle or container to carry around all day – IMPORTANT 
  1. Camp book 
  1. Scriptures 
  1. Pencil & Paper (opt.) 
  1. Quiet or rainy day games 
  1. Camera 
  1. Watch 
  1. Heavy trash bags (1-2) 
  1. Sewing kit (safety pins, etc.) 
  1. Flashlight with extra batteries 
  1. Camp chair 
  1. Insect repellent 
  1. Cot or air mattress & pillow 
  1. Sleeping bag/sheet/blanket 
  1. Personal toiletries – soap, shampoo, comb/brush, mirror, toothbrush, toothpaste, sanitary supplies, etc. 
  1. Sunscreen or sunblock – IMPORTANT 
  1. Sun glasses/hat 
  1. Shirts – must have sleeves and be modest (NO tummies, etc) 
  1. KNEE-LENGTH shorts or capris 
  1. Long pants (good to have at least 1 pair) 
  1. Underwear & Socks 
  1. Pajamas  
  1. Two pair of shoes – NO open toed shoes or bare feet allowed (flip-flops may be worn in showers only) 
  1. Swimsuit – MODEST one piece 
  1. T-shirt to be worn from the lake to the campsites 
  1. Washcloth & Bathing towel (and /or beach towel) 
  1. Rain gear (raincoat/poncho/umbrella/rain boots) 
  1. Rubber Maid type container to protect gear if it rains 
  1. Coat/jacket

Parent To Do List

·        Encourage your daughter to go. Must be 12 yrs. old by Sept. 1, 2015
·        Fill out form completely and turn in to your ward YW leader by

·        Camp Cost: $100.00 – turn in w/ camp application to your ward YW leader.  This is done by filling out a tithing slip and attaching your check or cash.  Mark “other” with your daughter’s name and “YW Camp Fee”.  Your YW leader will turn them all in to the bishopric.  (The camp fee covers lodging, food, trading post tickets, crafts, certification supplies, and a t-shirt.)
·        Encourage your daughter to invite a friend to camp if she wants to.
·        Be sure your daughter attends all ward pre-camp preparation activities.
·        Be sure your daughter is prepared with all personal camp supplies.
